It is Jacksonville's newest alternative to nursing home care that keeps senior citizens in "control" of their destiny and assists them to age with dignity. This concept models the bed and breakfast approach to relaxed life styles. Some Place Like Home residents don't live in a facility, our staff make them feel as if they were in their own home. Mission: To provide professional quality healthcare services to senior citizens in a home like setting. Holistic Approach: Holistic medicine is the study of treating the entire person - not just the symptoms. Trained professionals will offer alternatives for improving the seniors state of well being under the direction of a licensed medical physician. Those professionals will suggest activities and offer routine stretching and exercise to improve strength and mobility. The goal is to put the senior back in the drivers seat and give them control of their lives. They are not just a room number in the Some Place Like Home system. |
